October Student of the Month 2018

Bryan Anderson is the Kiwanis Student of the Month. He lives with his aunt, Debra Endicott, and uncle, John Rardon, on Spartan Road. Bryan is ranked 24th in his class with a GPA of 3.36. He is an honor roll student who is a member of the Chess Club and Leadership Committee.

Bryan didn’t have much information on his bio sheet so I asked him what else he does. His comment was that he is a boring person. Let me tell you that I beg to differ; Bryan is a very active student. He is an anchor for the school morning news, he is on the yearbook staff, and he was very involved with the collection, organization, packing, and transporting of items donated to the Carolina relief effort spear headed by Southern and Wellsville High Schools. Bryan also worked the concession stand at every basketball game for the Junior Class last year. So Bryan is not boring – he is that behind the scenes guy that everyone can count on.

Teachers comment that Bryan is that ‘role model student.’ He is kind and respectful. He is willing to help others and the first to volunteer for a cause. Bryan always has a ‘hello’ and never forgets to say ‘thank you.’ Bryan is that ‘All American Boy’ who makes your day better because you interacted with him.

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys hunting and fishing for bass. This past summer he worked at Ventra Salem.

Future plans include going to a trade school or finding an enjoyable job.
