Class Poem

Remember when we were freshmen here
Full of wonder, full of fear
Facing dates and semester tests
Hoping we would do our best

Now we think of the future near
Still full of wonder, full of fear
Facing a world that may seem cold
It's going to be hard, so let's be bold

Now is the time we must part
But memories of friendships will stay in our hearts
The world awaits us, and it shall see
The wonderful people that we will be

By Sue Poynter and Lorena Murray

Class Song

It's out of my life
It's out of my life
And I don't know whether to live or die
And it cuts me like a knife
It's out of my life.

It's out of my hands
It's out of my hands
To think for four years
When we were here
And took it all for granted.

The air is full of saddened cheers
Now the way that it stands
It's out of my hands.

And so I've learned that nothing lasts forever
And I've learned that life won't wait
Now that we must each go our own way
And our futures are open gates.

And it's out of my life
It's out of my life.

The heck with false smiles and holding back the tears
We'll remember our school days for the rest of our years
And it cuts like a knife.

It's out of my life.
